Peter Loftin is the name, who is the founder of BTI or Business Telecom Inc. and he is also the former chairman of the board of this major telecommunications enterprise. Peter is also famous for the sharing the wealth through noteworthy donations and various types of volunteer services. Being a popular arts supporter, he made the largest contribution to the city of Raleigh in North Carolina where he assisted to develop the BTI Center for Performing Arts. The Center was a large venue situated between Tampa and Washington DC. Apart from that, he was also a supporter of the North Carolina Museum of Science and the Police Athletic League. Being the owner of Casa Casuarina- the best private club located in South Beach Miami. The venue was donated for various events that benefit almost 30 charitable companies.

After the 9/11 tragedy, Peter Loftin was also a part of the National Board of Governors of The American National Red Cross. Besides, he also made a contribution to different charities that are really beneficial for the veterans. Along with that, he is a chief donor of the Special Operations Fund, which provides college funding for the kids of Fallen Tier 1 soldiers. He is also the supporter of Airborne & Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville, North Carolina. While being in BTI, Peter arranged another program that offered free internet service the disabled students in North Carolina. Due to this reason, BTI earned the recognition of “Corporate Citizen of the Year” from the state disability association.

  • Peter Loftin plays a big role in helping kids. In his 20’s, he set up a camp known as “Coat for Kids” where winter coats were donated to the needy kids. After that, we set up Camp BTI for both Boys and Girls Clubs of America and then he carried out Loftin’s 2-on-2 competition throughout Atlanta in the game of Basketball. He also assisted the Oak Ranch Facility for all the troubled teens and set-up the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America. Previously, he was the board member of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development and the American Lung Association. Apart from that, he was also a part of the Board of Visitors of the Kenan-Flagler Business School.
  • Peter Loftin was also the member of the advisory board of the Duke Heart Center located at the Duke University Medical Center. At present, he is also a board member of the Miami Beach Police Athletic League. Peter was honored in 2006 with a certificate of appreciation by the City of Miami Beach for contributing to this city. It includes the sponsorship and/ or donation of Casa as the location for various charitable functions such as the American Red Cross, Alonzo Mourning Foundation, Scoliosis Research Society, Miami Book Fair, Miami International Film Festival and some other political fundraisers. It was also mentioned in the certificate that Casa Casuarina is being recreated as the elite venue for different private events. In fact, this club was set as the leader of the latest ultra-elite identity of Miami.
